Friends and Partnership Conflict - Resolved
with Mediation brings costly partnership dispute
to an end.

Frank and Sam had been business partners and close friends for over twenty years. They initially started one business, and sold it for a significant profit. They partnered again to invest in real estate. Over the course of several years they accumulated over $25 million of market value in real estate and business assets. The net value was $5 million.

However, as their business assets grew, so did their approach to how the business should be conducted.  Their relationship grew considerably bitter and hostile.

Both engaged attorneys to battle on their behalf. The attorneys recognized that mediation would be a better solution to preserve the assets for each of their clients.

Frank and Sam were both skeptical of mediation as they never heard of it. However, trusting the advice of their attorneys, they agreed to the mediation.

The parties engaged Slusky Mediation and after 3 mediation sessions, Frank and Sam agreed on the equitable division of assets and liabilities of the several properties and other businesses of the partners. The mediation gave both of the gentlemen a clean and fresh start to successfully move forward independent of one another.
